What is Less than Container Load service consist of?
Less than Container Load service consist of shipping between two ports using a groupage service on a sea container offered by a consolidator. This way, your costs are significantly lower than the costs for conducting a FCL (full container load) transport. Your commodities / goods are received in our warehouse, customs cleared for export and then shipped to the consolidator agent’s warehouse, place where your consignment will be consolidated with other ones having the same destination and then shipped to the port of destination.
What is the air carriage of goods?
Air transportation is the shipping of your goods in air traffic with the airlines whom agents we are. Booking space on aircraft and issuing the Air Waybill are made by DOUANE GROUP under your instructions, as authorized agents of the airlines.
Do you provide packing materials for shipping personal effects?
Yes, we provide packing materials for shipping personal effects / household goods. For shipping by sea of personal effects, we provide individual corrugated boxes with double layer CO5 with dimensions 60x40x37 cm, collective corrugated boxes with double layer CO5 with dimensions 120x80x80 cm and pallets with ISPM15 heat treatment. For air freight shipping you can use the same boxes described before or your own boxes, provided that they are strong enough for air traffic.

Yes, it is mandatory for wooden pallets and wood packaging thicker than 5 mmm to have the ISPM15 heat treatment and to be properly marked. Packaging without ISPM15 heat treatment cannot be shipped, being rejected at destination and causing financial penalties applied by the customs authorities at destination.
Pets can be transported as air cargo?
Yes, pets can carried either accompanied in the cabin, if they are small enough according to the requirements of each airline, or carried as air cargo if the animal is not accompanied or if the dimensions do not allow transport in the cabin.

No, we don’t have the possibility to send your pet to the entire international airport opened to air traffic, being restricted by the technical possibilities of the aircrafts.
Must I be present for customs clearance of my personal effects?
It is entirely your option if the customs formalities are performed directly, with your presence, or by representative, case in which we need a power of attorney from your side.
